Cubs Acquire Kendall From the A's The Cubs geared up for the stretch run when they acquired veteran catcher Jason Kendall from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for catcher Rob Bowen and Minor League pitcher Jerry Blevins. Kendall comes over to the Cubs with .298 carrer batting avg., but struggling this year with only 2 home runs and batting .226. Kendall is a free agent after this year so I doubt the Cubs re-sign him at the end of the year. So I wonder what is going to happen to Hill when and if Blanco returns from the DL? |
