Default Braves vs Cubs 6-10 @ 7:05ct

CHC: LHP Ted Lilly (5-5, 5.23 ERA)
Lilly was Houdini-like in his last start, escaping jams in the sixth and seventh innings against the Padres. But he couldn't get out of trouble in the eighth and took the loss in a 2-1 decision. The lefty did strike out eight, and gave up two runs on seven hits over 7 1/3 innings. Lilly felt his curve needed to be sharper, and that he made some mistakes. He didn't make many, and seems to be back on track. He's riding a three-game winning streak at home.

ATL: LHP Tom Glavine (2-2, 4.47 ERA)
Another of Glavine's solid outings was spoiled in a late-inning Braves meltdown. He pitched five innings and gave up two runs on six hits while striking out five against the Marlins. Glavine did not get a decision. He has struck out five in each of his last two starts. The 42-year-old lefty has given up two runs or fewer in eight of his 11 starts. He's returning to Wrigley for the first time since he won his 300th game there on Aug. 5, 2007, as a member of the Mets.
