The Cubs won the second game of the three game series against the Mets yesterday but Kerry Wood did not pitch. Fans were pumped for this showdown against the East-leading Mets, and 41,412 packed into Wrigley Field. Standing-room-only tickets were selling for $150 outside the park -- if you could find one. And the majority of them were hoping that K Wood would enter the game. Piniella said earlier that he would get Wood in the game but he didnt. He said Marmol will not be in the pen tonight, so it sounds like Wood will take Marmols place in the pen and enter the game were Marmol usually does.
