Its been rumored that Ichiro Suzuki is expected to get a 5 year contract with the Seattle Mariners for $20 million a year. I was watching ESPN last night and the Marlins GM couldnt believe it, he said nobody in baseball is worth that much. I kind of agree with him there, I think baseball should have a salary cap like football does. That way you wont be having the Yankees constantly going to the post season year after year, although lower salaried teams like the Marlins have won a World Series in recent past. And if Ichiro is worth that much than what about A-Rod, is he worth $30 million a year? and if so will the Yankees buck up and pay it or will he move on to another team?
