The bottom of the 9th started out with hope, as Matt Murton reached second base safely after a line shot to left field. He then move to third on a wild pitch from Brett Myers. Matt Murton then scampered home from third on a wild pitch from Philadelphia closer Brett Myers in the bottom of the ninth, and the Cubs grabbed a first-place tie with Milwaukee in the National League Central following a 5-4 win over the Phillies on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
