 Cubs Drop 3 of 4 to Dodgers
The Cubs didnt do themselves any favors on their 10 game homestand going 5-5. They came back in yesterdays ball game thanks to Soriano hitting not one but two home runs, a 3 run shot in the 7th gave them the lead 4-2. Howry came in relief in the 8th and gave up a solo shot to make it 4-3. Then DUMPSTER came in to close it and ended up not only blowing the lead but giving up 3 runs of one pitch while recording no outs in the process. If the Cubs plan to distance themselves from the pack the need to start winning ball games and especially from teams like their facing this weekend like the Pirates........ |
