The Chicago Cubs have optioned Felix Pie back to the minors to work on his hitting again and brought up catcher Geovany Soto. That will make 3 catchers on the roster and 11 pitchers still. I wonder how long Pinella is going to keep 3 catchers on the roster? Soto was hitting .341 with 12 home runs and 55 RBIs before being called up. At least thats alot better than what our current catchers are hitting , a combined 11-88 at the plate. I still wonder why we got rid of Barrett, at least he could hit, literally!
