The Cubs, needing an experienced bat against left-handed pitching, acquired outfielder Craig Monroe from the Detroit Tigers on Thursday for a player to be named.

I dont know why we need another outfielder , but O well.

I think he looked all right tonight , think he got robbed on that strike 3 call. I would give him a couple weeks to get adjusted and then evaluate him
